Starbucks cafe network in South Korea She banned clients to use the names and names of presidential candidates when placing orders – the media said. The decision aims to prevent the use of a system of recalling clients for agitation, which has happened in the past.

The ban, in force until the day of election, i.e. June 3, covers the names and names of seven candidates, including the favorite of Mjung from the Democratic Party and his conservative rival Kim Mun Su, as well as election slogans. In addition, the name of the former president of Jun Jerola Jaol was on the list of forbidden expressions.
Starbucks explains that this measure aims to “minimize controversy and avoid allegations of political bias” during the period started on Monday of the presidential campaign. The company emphasizes that its service to recall clients by name is to “build relationships with clients”, and Starbucks does not take a position on political or religious issues and monitors the use of inappropriate expressions.
The media remind you that before the election in the past there were cases of using this service for political purposes.
After the election, the use of the names of candidates as nicknames will be re -allowed, unless they are combined with offensive content – explained.
Early elections are the result of the Jun impeachment, which was removed from power as a result of the imposition of martial law in December last year.
