Revenues from PIT and VAT are growing. Domański assesses the condition of the budget

“Poland will be one of the fastest growing economies in the EU. VAT revenues are growing, revenues from PIT are growing, the situation of public finances looks good. A little lower than we would expect are income from CIT. Many Polish companies have problems with profitability”-says Minister Domański in an interview with Business Insider Polska during the Impact'25 congress.
On Wednesday, the tenth edition of the Impact'25 Congress began. Among the guests was, among others Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański, who, despite many adversities, constantly maintains the optimistic forecast of the growth of the Polish economy this year.
“We estimate that the growth rate of GDP in 2025 will be closer to 4 percent.” – admitted the minister. During the panel entitled” The Polish economy against the background of a dynamically changing Europe “emphasized that the coming months would be crucial.
“It will be a breakthrough year, a year of change, time when Europe is responsible for its safety” – argued Andrzej Domański.
