The Leninsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk terminated the criminal case against the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Andrei Novak in connection with the “reconciliation of the parties.” This is written by “Vedomosti”.
According to investigators, in the period from January 2022 to June 2024, the deputy systematically beat a woman with whom he was in close relations. Cases of domestic violence became known in the summer of last year. The victim said to the police that the drunk Andrei Novak, while in her apartment, during a quarrel, inflicted several strokes on the head and body with her hands and feet.
“After that, he put a pillow on her head and held it, expressing the murder to the victim, which she took in connection with the current situation. The defendant stopped his unlawful actions after the woman’s young daughter entered the room, ”the UK said.
The deputy was charged with committing crimes provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture) and part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (threat of murder). During the investigation, Andrei Novak was forbidden to approach the victim’s place of residence, as well as communicate with her and witnesses, including using any means of communication.
