A drunk driver blocked the railway circulation after reaching the BMW on the railway, in Eforie Nord
The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations “Dobrogea” and IPJ Constanța were notified on Saturday, May 10, 2025, by calling to 112 about a car that arrived on the railway in Eforie Nord. The railway circulation was blocked.
Police officers found that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, according to the local publication of Constanta.
“On May 10, 2025, around 1:00 pm, police officers from the Eforie City Police were notified that a car would be on the railway line in Eforie Nord. Moves on the spot, the police found that the ones notified are confirmed, on the spot being identified and the driver, a 36 -year -old woman. It was tested with the ethyl tester, the result being 1.64 mg/liter pure alcohol in the expired air ”said IPJ Constanța.
The driver was transported to the hospital for the collection of biological samples, in order to establish the blood alcohol levels.

Following the incident, no victims were recorded, but the incident led to the railway traffic for half an hour, until the car was removed from the rails.
