The leaders of the UDMR decided to wait for the move of the liberals, who meet on Monday evening in the session, before deciding whether or not to support the Vestea government.
“We are waiting to see what will be the decision that the liberals will take tomorrow because he is still the first vice-president of the PNL. We are also waiting for a discussion with Mr. Adrian Veștea before making a decision,” Csoma Botond, spokesperson of the UDMR, told HotNews after the meeting of the party leadership.
According to HotNews sources from the party, the UDMR is considering meeting in another meeting on Tuesday, when the PNL decision will also be clear. UDMR does not want, say the sources, to take part in the attempt to split the Liberal Party, but wants to see how the majority is positioned.
