Politicologist, about George Simion: It's not Santa, he's a meteorite who fell in your head and fires your house

Professor of political science Alina Mungiu-Pippidi drew an alarm signal on Wednesday, commenting on the first electoral debate between George Simion and Nicușor Dan, from the event organized by the National Trade Union Bloc (BNS), showing that the Romanian voters should carefully reflect in the next few days on the option. About the golden leader, she said that “it is not Santa who brought you a box of candy, he is a meteorite that fell into your head and fires your house.”
“Whoever voted on George Simion, every day pays a little and we all pay,” the political scientist believes.
“It seemed to me a very good confrontation, just as I seemed very good and what Mr. Simion did in the last 24 hours, in which, dizzy and accustomed to talking with different publics, suddenly they put them in one place and began to reveal the forgeries, the contradictions, the total of the TV,”
“There are only suckers, inattentive voters, voters taken out of their minds, voters under the influence of alcohol, and so on, this is. So what is shocking is that Mr. Simion could take 42%,” continued the political science teacher.
“My opinion is that he himself is amazed that he could have reached this,” she added.
What Alina Mungiu-Pippidi says about the second round of presidential elections:
- “Since Monday, everyone loses a bit of what he has, from what the children have, pays more expensive credits. We are talking about people paid in lei, I am paid in euros, I work in another country, but who is paid in lei and who voted on George Simion, every day pays a little and we all pay.
- We have a great luck. In life you are not given the second chance and the Romanian voters are given the third chance. They played like a kind of Russian roulette. You know how it is, in which you take a revolver and in one place a cartridge is put, you approach it and you pull. Well, they first pulled on November 24, nothing happened.
- The second time they had the opportunity on May 4, again they fired, again, that it was not from the cart.
- Sir, the last and final time comes. Now it can be with a cartridge, so, so to speak, great luck on the Romanian voters that they are given a chance.
- They have 12 more days to change their minds. What Mr. Simion does in these 12 days, is irrelevant, that he is already clear, who is Mr. Georgescu is already clear. Who are the people behind them, not the little ones, the bastards who have a minute a day when they wash toilets in Florence and they look at Tiktok and say “A, that's my cousin, that's what I am to blame, but the other many groups are now known and there are no people.
- The voters have 12 days to reach this thing, to reach this thing, that is not Santa who brought you a box of candy, is a meteorite that fell to your head and fires your house. That's it!
- They do not catch, the third time the cartridge will hit them and, once again, I will not hit us, these elites that live in the West and we have Western wages. They will hit them, indirectly, because we have invested in this country a lot of activity, over the last 30 years.“
George Simion and Nicușor Dan on Wednesday had a first election confrontation on the occasion of participating in the congress of the National Trade Union Block. On this occasion, they addressed economic themes, and the president of Gold accused “an electoral movement as painful” which led to the depreciation of the national currency in relation to the euro. “Not anything happens is the result of a conspiracy,” the general mayor replied.
