In the Christian name, several saints of the Euseis are mentioned. The most famous among them are the martyr Eusebius, who lived in the 1st century; Eusebius Nicodmidian, executed by Emperor Diocletian at the beginning of the 4th century; Rev. Eusebius Hermit, who became a hermit in the 4th century.
The people claimed that Evsey was oppressed to Earth, and Maet was pestering people. To get rid of adversity, they made prayers and washed with holy water.
By this day it was necessary to finish the sowing of oats – hence the nickname of Evsey. It was necessary to sow oats strictly at a certain time, regardless of the weather and condition of the soil.
