In Russia, electricity tariffs will be indexed. From July 1, 2025, they will grow by 12.6 %, and from July 2026 – by 9.3 %. This was reported by TASS with reference to the forecast of socio-economic development from the Ministry of Economic Development.
In addition, from July 1, 2027, electricity tariffs for the population will rise in price by 6.9 %, and from July 2028 – by 4.9 %. It is clarified that the last forecast prepared in the fall of 2024 was decided to revise, taking into account the adjustment of the expected level of inflation and an increase in the rate of indexation of wholesale prices for gas.
