Six hours before the closing of the ballot boxes, the official data shows that in the Capital the presence at the vote, at 3 pm, almost equalized the one of 2019, being above the level of the poll of 2024.

Until 3 pm, they voted on Sunday, in the Capital, at the first round of the presidential elections 2025, over 539,000 voters, representing 30.26 % of the number of those registered in the electoral lists, according to the data provided by the Permanent Electoral Authority.

From the number of those went to the ballot box in the capital until 3 pm, over 69,000 people voted on the additional lists.

In 2024, at the first round of the presidential election canceled, until 15 pm, more than 430,000 people had voted in the sections organized in Bucharest, the presence at the ballot box being 28.86 %. About 52,000 voters appeared on the additional lists.

In 2019, until the same time, the presence was 30.53 %. Over 548,000 people had expressed their voting option, of which almost 69,000 on additional lists.

The situation of the presence to vote on sectors:

  • Sector 1 – 32.56 %
  • Sector 2 – 29.80 %
  • Sector 3 – 24.32 %
  • Sector 4 – 29.47 %
  • Sector 5 – 27.65 %
  • Sector 6 – 32.23 %

At the country level, the highest voting presence, at 3 pm, was registered in Ilfov county (35.38%). The capital is ranked 21st.
