Two children, 4 and 6 years old, died after falling into a channel, in Huedin

Two children fell on a water pit on a former channel in the city of Huedin, in Cluj County on Tuesday, and they were taken out in a cardio-respiratory stop. Despite the resuscitation maneuvers performed by the intervention teams, the two children could not be saved.
The Cluj County Police said that the incident took place inside a site arranged for works at the railway sector, located on Fildului Street in the locality, reports News.ro.
The two children are two boys – 4 and 6 years old.
“The police are conducting investigations for the exact establishment of the circumstances in which the incident has occurred and for the disposition of the legal measures that are required,” said IPJ Cluj.
The Cluj Emergency Situations Into, announced on Tuesday afternoon that the firefighters in the Huedin Detachment intervene to “save two children who would have drowned in a water pit (former channel) located on Fildului Street in the city of Huedin.”
“The two children were removed from the water and are in cardio-respiratory stop,” said ISU Cluj, specifying that the on-site crews apply resuscitation maneuvers.
“Unfortunately, the resuscitation maneuvers were not successful, being declared the death of the two minors,” said ISU Cluj.
