SuperLiga: In bid to avoid relegation, FK Csikszereda announce fifth transfer in just four days

Defender Răzvan Trif (29 years old) is the new player of FK Csikszereda, announced the club from Miercurea Ciuc.
The team coached by Robert Ilyeș is in 14th place in the SuperLiga, with 16 points after 21 stages, and in the first official match of 2026 they will receive the visit of FC Botoșani, on January 18, from 15:30.

“Welcome, Răzvan Trif! A 29-year-old defender born in Jidvei has joined our Super League squad on training camp in Turkey. A left-footed player, Răzvan Trif has performed mainly as a left back throughout his career, but can also be used as a central defender.
He arrives at FK Csíkszereda as a free-of-contract footballer, his last team being Oțelul Galati, from which he left in the summer. He previously played at UTA, Cluj University or CS Mioveni, but he made the most appearances in the jersey of the team that formed him, Gaz Metan Mediaș. He has more than 100 matches in the first league and more than 6,500 minutes played in his records”, the press release from the clubs states.
In the previous days, the team in its first season in the SuperLiga also presented Arian Kabashi (29 years old, central defender), Gustavo dos Santos Cabral (24 years old, attacking/wing midfielder), Wilhelm Loeper (27 years old, midfielder/right winger) and Mariano Bettini (29 years old, right back).
