During the Dinamo – FCSB derby, the selector Gică Hagi chose to participate in another event in Bucharest

A few days before resuming his role as a selector, Gheorghe Hagi stayed until the end at the Nadia Gala and did not make it to the game on the “Arcul de Triumf”.

Gheorghe Hagi came to the event, where the head of the FRF Răzvan Burleanu was also present. At the end of the event, the Romanian national team gave a short statement about Nadia Comăneci.

She brought perfection to the sport. We are proud. I am happy for her and for this gala, it was very well organized. Bravo! She scored 10 and inspires us all. I saw her in Montreal. We were all watching TV. It was the pride of Romania. It should be an inspiration. Success brings something very important: proof that it can be done. Gică Hagi will debut in the new mandate in an away match against Georgia. The match was scheduled for June 2, in Tbilisi, from 20:00. In just 4 days, Romania will play again, on home soil with Wales.

Very emotional to see almost my whole life in pictures, to enter this hall where all my colleagues and the generations after me are present. I'm glad that gymnastics still has a wave of desire to do something amazing. The location belongs to the Romanians and it is a great honor for me. I'm glad because I live very close and see the Parliament Palace every time.
