Daniel Funeriu, an independent candidate for the presidential elections this year, said, during the debate organized on Tuesday evening at the Cotroceni Palace, that, if he will be elected president, Romania will be a country “without imposture and without manipulation”. He also insisted on calling the “elephant in this room”, referring to the controversial notion of “system” that many of his counter-candidates denounced during the campaign.
“It will be a Romania in which we will no longer have to discuss the elephant in this room. The elephant in this room is called a system, everyone invoked it, nobody called it, I call it,” said the former Minister of Education in the Boc Government.
“The system is based on two pillars. The first pillar-which I defeated when I drove the Ministry of Education-the imposture of the generalized fraud at the exams in Romania, the imposture of the plagias, who placed on Romania a dense patch, the imposture of the diploma factories that I took with 600,000 students and I left with 60,000.
According to the independent candidate, “the second pillar of the system is manipulation”.
“If I am elected President of Romania, it will be a Romania without imposture, it will be a Romania without manipulation, in which the Romanian citizens will be exposed to the truth, including about the democratic cataclysm of the vote of December 2024,” he said.
“I am hired that in 30 days we know the whole truth,” Funeriu promised.
