The organizers of the racing in the chibins reduced a height set of 3.5 km to 1.4 km – instead of canceling the ultramarathon. But even the abbreviated path was difficult to go due to the risk of hypothermia.
The path to the finish line went through the pass – where the most difficult weather conditions. The orgi looked at the forecast and became convinced: the rain in Kirovsk would be only in the evening of the next day. But the weather is often unpredictably unpredictable.
