A newborn has disappeared from the maternity section of a hospital in Bacău, on Sunday, and the medical staff alerted the authorities and investigations are carried out to find the child, the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Bacău announced, according to Agerpres.

Police say the newborn disappeared on Sunday afternoon.

“On April 27 AC, around 3:10 pm, the police officers of the Bacău Police Section 1 were notified by the medical staff of a hospital in the municipality about the fact that, from the Maternity Section, a newborn disappeared. The police officers on the spot identified the mother of the child, a 33-year-old woman, a 33-year-old woman. 2:45 pm, when he went to the salon to breastfeed, he noticed that one of the children is missing, “said IPJ Bacău.

According to IPJ Bacău, the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service and the Bacău Criminal Investigation Bureau have taken over the case and, under the coordination of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the IGPR, and carry out activities to identify the child and clarify all the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
