Agrarians of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be shared by part of the cost of the production of potatoes and vegetables

The farmers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in anticipation of the sowing will be shared by part of the costs of the production of potatoes and vegetables and agricultural technological work.
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory sums up the results of the selection of recipients of subsidies in this direction. 38 agricultural producers, including individual entrepreneurs and farms, will receive money. More than 10.2 million rubles are allocated for progective support. Subsidies for support for the production of potatoes and vegetables of open ground in the total amount amounted to 18.6 million rubles. By the beginning of May, funds should enter the accounts of the Agrarians.
“The planned sowing area of potatoes this year is 28.6 thousand hectares, in the organized sector, it is planned to plant 6.2 thousand hectares, this corresponds to the level of last year. But, understanding the market conjuncture, some agricultural producers are now reporting plans to increase the sown area of potatoes. This is a promising direction. In the region, comprehensive work is underway, starting from the purchase of special machines and equipment to the implementation of large investment projects, ”said Ilya Vasiliev, Minister of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In total, more than 35 million rubles from budgets of different levels are provided for support for the production of potatoes and vegetables in the region this year. According to the federal project “Development of vegetable growing and potato breeding”, funds for elite seed production, an increase in the volume of potatoes and vegetables in open ground, agricultural technological work, which include the acquisition of fertilizers, plant protection, fuel and lubricants, have been allocated since 2023.
In addition to federal measures, initiative directions of state support are being implemented in the region – these are grants and subsidies for investment projects to create and modernize agricultural products, and the Oblastoy measures for farmers.
In terms of potato production, the Krasnoyarsk Territory leads among the subjects of the Siberian Federal District – according to the results of last year, 485.9 thousand tons were collected in the region. In terms of vegetable production, the region takes 4th place after the Omsk, Novosibirsk regions and the Altai Territory. In 2024, 133.7 thousand tons of vegetables were collected in the region.
According to the programs “Our Farmer” and “Agrostartap”, small agricultural producers can receive grants up to 8 million rubles and 5 million rubles, respectively, for agricultural development, including potato and vegetable growing. To implement the project, only 10% of your own funds must be invested.
Traditionally, potatoes and vegetables in the region are grown by farmers of Berezovsky, Emelyanovsky, Sukhobuzim, Mansky, Shushensky, Ermakovsky, Uzhursky, Bogotolsky and other areas.
The lands will begin to plant potatoes of farmers in May. The farms of the region are fully provided with seed potatoes. Vegetable security is 58.9 %. Every year, vegetable enterprises conclude contracts with suppliers and by April-Mu, seeds are delivered. This situation is traditional for vegetable growers.
