In Zheleznogorsk, the driver of the deprivation was sent to correctional labor for drunk driving. This was reported in the press service of the regional police.
Nissan of a 43-year-old man attracted the attention of traffic police inspectors in July 2024. Police officers had questions for the transport management manner, so the car was stopped. Since the motorist had external signs of alcohol intoxication, law enforcement officers invited him to undergo a medical examination. But the man abandoned the procedure and told the inspectors that he did not drive the machine.
“During the driver’s check for administrative offenses through the State traffic inspectorate, it was found that three months earlier he was held accountable for refusing to undergo an examination for intoxication,” said the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

A criminal case was instituted against the man under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Management of a vehicle in a state of intoxication by a person subjected to administrative punishment or a criminal record”
The court found the driver to be guilty and sentenced him to 350 hours of compulsory work with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to driving for a period of 2 years. The sentence entered into force.
