RN-VAVKOR announces a contest of grants in support of scientific and social studies that are of applied importance for the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and its indigenous population.
The size of one grant is 500,000 rubles. This year, within the framework of the Grant competition, three projects will be supported.
On the territory of production activities “RN-VAVKOR” Today, a large -scale East Oil project is being implemented. The preservation of the traditional way of life of the indigenous peoples of the North and the integrity of local ecosystems in the areas of presence is the main principle of the work of oil workers.
Organizations and institutions with projects for the development of scientific knowledge about the territory, socially significant initiatives, as well as with research works to preserve the biological diversity of Taimyr and support the traditional way of life of the indigenous peoples of the North are invited to participate.
Recall that thanks to the grant support of oil workers, scientists conducted studies of the population of sheepskin, the goose -like birds of the Western Taimyr, studied the condition of the fishing species of the Yenisei Gulf of the Kara Sea, created the electronic textbook “Northern Deer Taimyr” and the digital map of the vegetation of Taimyr.
