Survey for the Capital City Hall: such as Bucharest, if next week were local elections. The favorite party

A percentage of 27% of Bucharest residents would vote USR, if next Sunday were local elections, a the opinion poll of the course. The second place is ranked PSD, and on three it is – gold. PNL is in position four, with 16%.

If the next Sunday would take place elections for the town halls and the General City Hall, most respondents (27%) say they would vote with USR, the party founded by the former mayor of the Capital, Nicușor Dan, shows the course survey conducted in June.

In second place in the respondents' preferences are the Social Democratic Party, with whom 22% of the respondents say they would vote. So,

18% of the people of Bucharest who participated in the poll say they would vote with gold in local elections, and 16% with PNL.

The fewest votes would take the landmarks and can, with which 5% of the respondents would vote.

37% of Bucharest residents would prefer the elections to be next year

The survey also shows the opinions of the Bucharest residents regarding the electoral calendar. 43% of them believe that local elections should be organized next year, because there is no money now.

37% want to carry out them as soon as possible, and 16% do not think this poll is a priority.

Currently, the Capital City Hall is headed interim by Stelian Bujduveanu, after the resignation of Nicușor Dan from the position of mayor, following his Vitoria in the presidential elections.

Currently, a calendar on the local elections in Bucharest has not been announced. No party has officially announced the candidate for this position.

What percentages did the parties get in the last elections

At the local elections of 2024, for the position of mayor of the Capital, Nicușor Dan, supported by the united right -side (USR, PMP and the force of the right), won a new term at the town hall, with 48.3% of the votes.

Gabriela Firea, a candidate from the PSD, obtained 22.34%, ranking second. In the third place was Cristian Popescu Piedone, the candidate put, and in the fourth place in the final results was Sebastian Burduja, from PNL, with 7.85% of the votes.

At the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest, the PSD obtained the most votes – 27%, followed by the united right alliance, with 26.6% and in third PNL, with 12% of the votes.

Gold ranked fifth in the final results at CGMB, with 8% of the votes. The landmark was ranked immediately after 7% in final results.

The main problems of the Bucharest residents

21% of the respondents say that the most urgent problems that the City Hall should deal with are traffic and agglomeration.

Cleaning and sanitation are problems of interest for 14% of Bucharest people who responded to the survey. 13% of them still believe that pollution should be a priority for local authorities.

12% of them believe that hospitals, medicines and standard of living are other important problems that the City Hall must solve.

At the opposite pole, there is public transport and parking lots, which only 2% of the respondents consider problems.

The course survey was conducted on June 19-27, 2025, on a sample of 1,225 respondents, inhabitants of Bucharest, with over 18 years. The data collection method was CATI, and the maximum error margin is +/- 2.8% at a level of 95%.
