US President Donald Trump has announced that he and his first lady, Melania Trump, will travel to Rome to participate in Pope Francis, USA Today reports.
“Melania and I will go to Pope Francis's funeral, Rome,” the American leader announced on Monday in a post on Social Truth.
Pope Francis died on the second day of Easter, after a stroke and a cardiac arrest, according to the details transmitted by the Vatican representatives.
They explained that the stroke led to a coma and subsequently to an irreversible cardiac arrest, notes Sky News.
When will Pope Francis be buried
The Italian press carries on Saturday, April 26, as possible for Pope Francis's funeral, given that the funerals must take place between the fourth and the sixth day after death, reports News.ro.
