The cruelty of the Empire of Evil increases all the time. If someone does not have support from friends, kind people, there is no faith in all this, it is very difficult for him to experience what is happening here.

And I saw a lot of suffering here. Today at dawn, rockets fell again on Kharkiv, again the sirens. Then we fed the homeless. There are Easter, so the food was also better than usual. There was even an Easter grandmother, here called Passover. Here, in Kharkov, we have over 600,000 so -called internal refugees, people who had to come to our city or lost their homes in bombing, or had no choice but to run away from the areas occupied by Russia. There is no way to explain that God watches over the Ukrainians?
It is difficult to try to talk about God, forgiveness, love, and eternal life at such moments. I don't think it is impossible, but very difficult. Here, whole families are waiting for their loved ones, everyone in hope. These thousand bodies are a blow. This is an insurmountable pain. I think that many people ask themselves questions about God, some of them begin to doubt, some to go away from faith, lose the meaning of life. And me and other priests try to support, be as close as possible. There are really no words for all this.
There is no words that Palm Sunday, at the beginning of the Holy Week, attacked sums. After all, people went to church that day, to the church, they prayed. And suddenly Iskander rockets. Over 20 people murdered. The sums were mine. I called my former parishioners, we talked, they wished that they could live Easter and survive this Christmas safely.

For several months I feel that Ukraine has no longer defended myself, but also all of Europe. And he pays a huge price for it. These thousand bodies are a price, those growing cemeteries, in which there are mainly photos of young people on tombstones, this is the price. Comparing Ukraine to the suffering Jesus is not exaggerated.

Of course it is. Jesus in this great suffering was supported by individuals, he was lonely in him. We, here, in Ukraine also feel this loneliness, especially after these last decisions, the last words, about the fact that maybe Ukraine is guilty … Maybe Ukrainians should still start apologizing that they are fighting, that they are defending themselves. All this goes into some huge hypocrisy. Ukraine did not attack anyone, did not start war. Ukraine suffers. It was an aggressor to Ukraine to destroy, kill, murder, torture.
Christ was risen …
Ukraine will also be resurrected. But first he will pay for it with a huge price. He is already paying. And you can't see the end of this war. However, people believe that victory, just peace and Ukraine will resurrection.
