Gafa at Fox News. Ukraine asks for an investigation after the television station was wrong a “burar”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted on Sunday after the American Fox News news station, a television close to Donald Trump, labeled Kiev as a Russian city during the diffusion of the Resurrection of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, reports Ukrainskaia Pravda, quoted by News.ro.

Fox News has broadcast images of Easter jobs from different parts of the world, including Kiev. Initially, the images transmitted from St. Michael's Cathedral with golden domes were reported as from “Kiev, Ukraine”, but then the “Kiev, Russia” beard appeared and remained on the screen for a long time.

The American television station also transmitted images from the Russian service, in Moscow, attended by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, Kirill, and the Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.

“If it was a mistake, and not a deliberate political declaration, then they should apologize and investigate who made the mistake,” wrote the spokesman of the Ukrainian, Heorhii Tîhi.

Recently, Bloomberg wrote, citing sources, that the US is willing to recognize Russia's control over the Ukrainian Peninsula Crimea, as part of a larger peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev, Ukrainskaia Pravda mentions.

Everything happens in the context in which Russian President Vladimir Putin did not issue an order to extend the Easter armistice in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, quoted by the TASS press agency, on Sunday. The cessation of fire expires Sunday at midnight (the same hour in Russia, Ukraine and Romania).

Five hours before the deadline, Peskov said that there was no order from Putin to extend the cessation of fire. “No other orders were given,” Peskov said when asked if he could be extended.

The reaction came in the context in which the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski made a 30 -day armistice counterpart on Saturday night after Vladimir Putin announced a cessation of unilateral Easter fire.
