Ingredients dough
- 1 kg flour
- 50 grams of fresh yeast
- 250 grams of sugar
- 3-4 sachets vaninilated sugar
- 500 ml milk
- 100 ml oil
- 5 yolks
- Salt
- Lemon essence and shaved peel from a lemon
Filling ingredients
- 400 grams of walnut
- 5 whites
- 5 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa

Method of preparation
The first and first time, sift the flour three times, in a large and spacious vessel. Then make a hole in the middle of the vessel. The dough should be left to rise for an hour and a half or two. Then it is divided into two balls, which in turn are divided into two.

Cozonac preparation method with cream
The flour is sifted and we prepare the mayonnaise. In a bowl put the yeast with 1 teaspoon of sugar, 4 tablespoons of warm milk, 1 tablespoon flour, mix vigorously and let it double its volume. After the mayona doubles its volume, we put it over the flour. Add the egg yolks, lemon, orange and warm milk in which we dissolved the sugar and added vanilla. Add the cream, butter and oil, then knead for about 25 minutes. Slot the dough about 5 times to remove the air from it and leave it for 1 hour.
Beat the egg whites well until they become a honey, then add the walnut, rum and cocoa. I divided the dough into four equal parts, stretched with the successor, put the cream and over it I sprinkled the shit pieces, and then I braid the cozonac and leave it in trays, about 1 hour.
Before I put the cozonac in the oven, I greased them with egg yolk, I sprinkled poppy seeds and a few nuts. We leave the cozonacs in the oven 1 hour, at 150 degrees. If you see that they begin to blacken on top of the heat, put a baking paper over them.
