The Krasnoyarsk Territory took ninth place in the rating of the socio-economic situation of Russian regions compiled by RIA Novosti based on the results of 2025. The region scored 70.15 points, moving up one place compared to 2024.
The first eight places were distributed as follows: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Moscow region, Sverdlovsk region, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Leningrad region and Krasnodar region. The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug closes the top ten, reports Sever-Press.
As experts note, large financial, industrial and raw materials centers are consistently in the top ten. These regions provide more than half of the country's total gross regional product, and more than a third of the population lives in them. Nine out of ten leaders have an integral rating exceeding 70 points.
There are almost no changes at the bottom of the ranking. The last ten included the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Chukotka, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Altai Republic, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Kalmykia, Ingushetia and Tyva.
The integrated rating increased only in 44 regions, and decreased in 41. The average score for the country was 48.849. At the same time, the gap between leaders and outsiders has narrowed slightly.
