The candidate of the ruling coalition in the presidential elections, Crin Antonescu, told B1 TV that there was a pro-Russian effect campaign that caught more in Romania and less in the Republic of Moldova, considering that we have a problem, because we are a NATO country, with much stronger services than Moldova.

Crin Antonescu claims that in Romania a pro-Russian campaign has started, not from Călin Georgescu's candidacy, but since the war in Ukraine began.

“It was a campaign, I do not say that she was consciously understood with the Russians, but with a pro-Russian effect. This campaign lasts from the first day of the War in Ukraine. Zelenski was for these people for years and things have taken a spectacular turn from the moment they started Trump-Putin, a RUMP-PUTIN. except in the Republic of Moldova ”, said Crin Antonescu, quoted by News.ro.

The candidate of the coalition is of the opinion that “it is a problem how those people (…) have managed to defend aggressions of all kinds, and we have not succeeded.”

“We are NATO country, a country with much stronger services than those of the Republic of Moldova. There was anti-Western feeling in us, even if it is not overwhelming, but it has grown. Trust in the EU, NATO, in the West in general,” said Antonescu.

He said that a few years had “chopped” in Romania, “that the pandem was brought into jars and poisoned us here, that the war in Ukraine is exclusively from the fault of the Americans and Zelenski, that the economy of Romania is destroyed by the help given to Ukraine.”

“I am not interested in Georgescu, but there are still the votes of those people. I do not know if I will win or not, I hope yes, but I think any candidate has to think during the race that happens in the coming days if it happens, that is, it happens to win the presidency. The frustration of about two million people who voted with this man or this online ghost, Călin Georgescu ”, added Crin Antonescu.
