Valeriu Iftime, the owner of the FC Botoșani team, reacted after Leo Grozavu's students finished the first 15 stages of the regular season in first place in the SuperLiga.
FC Botoșani has accumulated 32 points, just like Rapid, and Iftime wants his team to stay at the top of the table for as long as possible. The group's financier also spoke about the winter transfer window.

It is possible, if you find a good group, if you give them the right energy and if you prepare them physically extraordinary. Because talent fueled by very, very hard work becomes extraordinary. But very, very hard work with great physical training and talent and good organization, you get good and that's it. Look how we are too.
Yes, there are 15 stages, the most goals scored, the fewest conceded. It's an achievement and of course we say it now, this is the time. Maybe in 2 months we won't be so happy, maybe there will be others. We will hold on to this position with all our will.
I think that the group and what Leo did in Botoșani and how he is building now there are the prerequisites for us to be able to hold on in that position. Sure, maybe not until the end, but let's be there in the first 3-4.
The winter strategy is clear. We play 4-5 more games this year. I don't think anyone is leaving Botoșani, nor do I want to. It is very important to maintain this group.
