Prime Minister Donald Tusk in the afternoon talked with the President of France Emmanuel Macron, prime minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Dick Schoof, as well as NATO Secretary Marek Rutte.
In a short post in social media, Donald Tusk reported: “I not only accepted Solidarity with Poland, but above all proposals for a specific air defense support of our country“.
“I offered Poland our help, training and experience in combating Russian drones, in particular Shaads. We agreed with Donald appropriate cooperation at the military level. We will also coordinate activities with all NATO member countries, “wrote the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelnski on the X.
It is known that the Minister of National Defense talked in parallel with his counterparts from other countries. He also pointed out that “everyone provided support for our decisive actions.”
Drones over Poland. The Netherlands declares help
The Netherlands has already decided to provide multilayer air defense to eastern Poland this year.
“Having two Patriot, NASAMS systems, anti -gun systems and 300 soldiers, we will be able to implement advanced funds. This day has shown that this is more important than ever for our joint security,” – wrote on platform X Minister of Defense Ruben Brekelmans.
In response, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz thanked for support. “The Netherlands has always been a trustworthy, loyal and extremely valued ally of Poland. We are extremely grateful for the huge support that the royal Dutch armed forces give our country and the entire eastern flank of the alliance.
