Apart from the plot in Zabłotnia, CPK does not see any similar problems with other properties needed to implement the investment, said Filip Czernicki, the company's president, on Thursday. Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Maciej Lasek expressed hope for a quick agreement with the owner of the land in Zabłotnia.

Wirtualna Polska wrote on Monday that in 2023, shortly before PiS gave up power, the Ministry of Agriculture gave consent to the sale by KOWR to the vice-president of Dawtona, Piotr Wielgomas, of a plot of 160 ha, through which the high-speed rail line from Warsaw to the CPK airport is to run. According to WP, in 2023, but before the transaction, Dawton's company was visited by the then Minister of Agriculture, Robert Telus. Ultimately, the sale transaction amounting to PLN 22.8 million was concluded on December 1, 2023, shortly before PiS returned to power.
We don't know of another situation of this type. The company purchases real estate from owners who are interested in the voluntary purchase program. Here we are talking about transferring plots from the KOWR resource. We do not know of any more situations of this type in our resources or research, said Filip Czernicki, president of CPK, at a press conference on Thursday.
Maciej Lasek, deputy minister of infrastructure and government plenipotentiary for CPK, was asked about the words of the company's vice-president, Dawton, Piotr Wielgomas, who wrote in a statement that KOWR may buy back the plot at any time until December 2028, because such a right was reserved in the sales contract. – I very much believe that an agreement will be reached very quickly and this plot will ultimately be transferred to the resources of the Central Communication Port – said Lasek.
The head of the National Center for Agricultural Support (KOWR), Henryk Smolarz, announced on Wednesday that he had asked the current owner of the plot in Zabłotnia to consent to the purchase of the land. The Minister of Agriculture, Stefan Krajewski, informed that he had decided to conduct an internal audit of all activities related to the sale of the plot.
Piotr Wielgomas noted in his statement that he was “embroiled in a political fight as a tool between political parties in Poland”, which he does not consent to. “With reference to other sensational reports appearing in the media, which concern my contacts and those of my family members with representatives of the government and local governments, I would like to inform you that these contacts were open, transparent and in accordance with the law, including the provisions of the Electoral Code Act,” he said.
CPK representatives informed on Monday that the previous management had already unsuccessfully demanded that KOWR hand over the plot. Since July 2025, the prosecutor's office has been investigating whether KOWR officials exceeded their powers when selling the plot. (PAP)
