Sukombank launches a service for confirming customer protection operations from scammers

Since September 1, the Sovcombank offers its customers a new opportunity to protect himself and his loved ones from fraud – a free “Trust” service.

The new option allows customers to appoint a trustee who will confirm or reject certain financial transactions. This is an effective tool for additional protection, primarily for the most trusting categories of customers – the elderly and children.

The client chooses a trustee from among the current customers of the bank (a trustee can become a client of a debit card or “halva”) and independently sets up parameters that require confirmation. You can choose what types of operations-cash withdrawal, payment by card, transfers, payment of services for a QR code or confirmation of loans-will require approval, as well as establish a threshold amount for such operations. If the trustee rejects the operation, it will not be completed, which serves as an additional barrier to protect the client’s funds from unauthorized actions and provides an increased level of control.

Connection of the option is available in the mobile application “Halva – Svombank”, as well as in the offices of the bank and the contact center.
