A criminal case was opened in Krasnoyarsk after the disappearance of a man at Stolby

Investigators have opened a criminal case into the unknown disappearance of a 56-year-old man in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. This was reported in the regional department of the Investigative Committee.
According to preliminary data, on March 9, a man drove his car to the eastern entrance to Stolby. Having parked the car, he headed towards Mount Ermak, after which he stopped communicating. An acquaintance reported the man missing to law enforcement agencies.
Currently, large-scale search operations are taking place in the national park with the involvement of police, rescuers and volunteers. Experts use drones to survey difficult-to-reach areas.
In the criminal case, a set of necessary investigative actions and operational search activities are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the man’s disappearance.
The investigator conducted a detailed inspection of the missing person's car and found no signs of any illegal actions committed against him.
