Coal miners in the Krasnoyarsk region completed 2025 with a historical record for production volumes

The enterprises of JSC SUEK-Krasnoyarsk completed 2025 with outstanding production results: total coal production exceeded 37 million 634 thousand tons, which became a historical maximum for the company.

These indicators were achieved thanks to the dedicated work of the miners of the Borodino, Berezovsky, Nazarovsky open-pit mines and service enterprises, SUEK-Krasnoyarsk emphasizes.

The Berezovsky open-pit mine confidently holds its leadership position, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025; the miners fulfilled the annual production plan in mid-October. By the end of the year, coal miners surpassed the mark of 8 million 889 thousand, thus setting a new record for annual production over the past 25 years.

This is not the only high achievement of the heroes of the day in the past year: on February 23, on the day of increased labor productivity, the miners of the Berezovsky open-pit mine shipped 84 thousand tons of fuel, which became a record for daily production in the entire history of the enterprise.

Excellent results and productivity growth were demonstrated by the Nazarovo open-pit mine, which turns 75 this year. Its employees ensured the supply of more than 3.8 million tons of coal to consumers. Nazarovites set a high productivity bar last January; for the first time in history, miners produced and shipped about 530 thousand tons of coal in a month. Employees involved in preparing coal seams for mining – stripping operations – also demonstrated impressive performance throughout the year. For example, in July, the crew of dragline ESH-20/90 No. 19 set a record for machines of this type, moving 671 thousand cubic meters of rock into the dump.

Employees of the Borodino enterprises of SUEK-Krasnoyarsk also showed decent results: the miners of the Borodino open-pit mine, together with the railway workers of the loading and transport department, shipped more than 24.8 million tons of solid fuel to consumers. A significant event for Borodino occurred in April; they surpassed the production line of 1 billion 200 million tons during their existence.

Thanks to such dedicated work, last year SUEK-Krasnoyarsk wrote its name in the history of domestic coal mining: our enterprises have shipped a total of 2 billion tons of coal since their commissioning. This is an unsurpassed result of the work of coal mines, which today play a vital role in the development of our region and strengthening its economy. We intend to continue to maintain these positions, move forward, develop and increase volumes, ensuring the energy security of the region.”
