As the mother of military Valentina Panchenko said, he was sitting in the Makeevskaya 32nd colony. There, according to her, there are a lot of civilian political prisoners.
The man joined the Armed Forces in 2017 at the age of 18. At 20, he was captured, in which he stayed for about seven years.
According to her mother, two days after the military man was captured from the Russian side, she was thrown away by the video and wrote that they would “cut it into pieces and send it with a parcel”.
The military was sent to the 5th Donetsk pre-trial detention center, and from there to the 32nd colony, already sentenced to 17 years under the articles “Terrorism” and “Illegal seizure of power.”
From captivity, the man returned not alone, but with the cat, whom he found in the Donetsk region.
“He had a cat where he was in the colony. Either he was brought, or where he took him, or found it somewhere in the colony still small. But he took him home. He said:“ Come, you will take it away, because if I lose it, it will be unpleasant, ”the military mother said.
According to Panchenko, a cat named Misha is very smart and affectionate, writes the newspaper Novini Donbas. The military said that the cat is undergoing a difficult adaptation. After his release, he stayed in the hospital with Panchenko for three days, after which he was taken by the mother of the former prisoner.
“I could not leave Misha – the fate of the homeless threatened him in the colony,” the military said. According to him, the kitten brought to the Barak their “manager”, also convicted. At that time, the kitten looked only a couple of weeks. “We went out, fed him, he slept with us,” said Panchenko. At first, the prisoners decided that it was a cat, and called the mouse. But later it turned out that it was a cat, then he was renamed the bear.
As Panchenko said, the cat in the new dwelling likes, he even began to gain weight.
