Sibiga called the “loss of moral guidelines” the statement by President UEFA regarding football players from Russia

The Ukrainian diplomat posted a quote from an interview with President UEFA Aleksander Cheferin Politico, in which he complains that Russian football players were not allowed to competition. According to him, there was a desire to return to international competitions of Russians under the age of 17 and supposedly there was support from the UEFA executive committee, but then there were “political hysteria” and pressure on some members of the executive committee.

“Incredible. President of UEFA said that it would not be a war, unleashed by Russia, and the murder of Ukrainian athletes, but“ political hysteria, ”this is not about neutrality, but about the loss of moral guidelines,” Sibiga wrote.

He also ironically apologized for “hysteria.”
