Commanders from the USA and Europe have developed military options on Ukraine

Commanders from the USA and the group of European countries have developed military options regarding Ukraine and will present them to advisers for national security in their countries – the Reuters agency said on Thursday, citing a representative of the American authorities.

– These options will be presented to advisers for national security of individual countries in order to consider during pending diplomatic activities – the source said.

As the official passed, meetings of the heads of the US, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain and Ukraine took place in Washington “between Tuesday and Thursday”.

As Reuters emphasized earlier, military planners from the USA and allies from Europe began working on variants of security guarantee for Ukraine.

Officials point out that the Planners of the United States and Europe will need time to determine what would be both enforceable in military terms and would be acceptable to the Kremlin.

Reuters sources have announced that one of the options is sending European forces to Ukraine, but entrusting the US command and control over them. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs ruled out the distribution of troops from NATO countries in Ukraine to support a peace agreement.
