The expert debunked the main myths of anti -inferications that continue to spread massively on social networks.

Infectious disease doctor Andrei Matyukhin, in an interview with North-Press, explained in detail why such errors not only do not correspond to reality, but also create serious risks for public health.

Materials on the topic

According to the expert, one of the most tenacious myths is the connection of vaccination with autism. It is based on the only falsified study of 1998, the author of which was subsequently deprived of a medical license for fraud. Numerous large-scale studies with the participation of hundreds of thousands of children finally proved the absence of any connection.

Fears of the effect of vaccinations on reproductive function do not find confirmation. The infectious disease specialist noted that there is not a single scientific study that proves that vaccines cause infertility in women or men, and during the period of mass vaccination from Covid-19, no such cases were recorded.

The myth of toxins in vaccines is also insolvent: for example, the amount of aluminum in them is lower than in breast milk, and formaldehyde is much less than naturally produced in the human body itself.

The doctor also denied the allegations that vaccinations can cause those diseases from which should be protected by explaining that modern vaccines do not contain living viruses capable of this. He recalled that it was thanks to vaccination that mankind was able to defeat the OSPU and take control of many other dangerous infections, and called for trusting only proven scientific data.
