On August 23–24, the sixth Cup of Krasnoyarsk for computer sports will be held on the central embankment – one of the largest and most prestigious e -sports tournaments in Russia. Especially for him, Rostelecom launched a modern digital infrastructure that will unite participants from all over the country.
In order for the competition to be at a high level, the provider provided the organizers with wired access to the network at a speed of up to 1 Gb/s and Wi-Fi.
“Rostelecom has been a technological partner of these competitions for several years. We paved the fiber -optic network on the embankment and adapted the infrastructure for the current needs of the organizers. A gaming tent and stage were connected to the wire Internet, which will provide a stable Internet connection during cybersinations and entertainment activities, ”said Alexei Usatov, director of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Rostelecom.
“Krasnoyarsk Cup is an important event for Russian e -sports. This year we traditionally spend it in two stages. The online selection, in which 41 thousand athletes participated, has already ended. Now the best teams will fight in the final, as a result of which the main winners will be determined, ”said Zhanna Khodos Shikilev, deputy head of the head of the city of Krasnoyarsk.
Participants and guests are waiting for a bright and rich program: a solemn opening, a show with creative numbers, broadcasting on large screens and interactive areas.
Over the five years of the Cup, over 350 thousand players aged 14 to 37 from 118 cities of the country took part in it. Online broadcasts of the competition have collected more than 3 million views. The total prize fund is 500 thousand rubles. Thanks to participation in the tournament, many players increased sports categories and received ranks.
