On the night of August 21, in the southern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, very strong rains, showers, hail and squalling wind reinforcements up to 15-20 m/s are expected in places, the Central Executive Committee reports.
The Ministry of Emergencies warned that bad weather could lead to adverse hydrological phenomena:
“On August 21 and 23 in the southern regions of the region, it is possible to increase water levels on the rivers, the release of water into an floodplain and flooding of low sections of the terrain, spills of small rivers and streams.”
