The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, told Antena 3 on Wednesday that the “NG budget” electronic application was designed from 2021 and hopes that it can be used in the elaboration of the budget project for 2026.
The official said that he wants that in the construction of the budget project for the next year “let us pass the formula on paper in a formula that is of electronic application”.
“This application has designed it since 2021, it is called” budget NG “(…). It is financed, started in 2021 and now I hope it ends in a timely manner, that is, in September, so that the budget of 2026 will be introduced in this application,” said Alexandru Nazare.
The Liberal claims that he “insisted a lot in 2021” for this application, “because a running on a budget formula lasts about two days” in the usual elaboration mode.
“If you changed something and you wanted to see the full budget again, with a few changes, you had to wait a day or two, which I find unacceptable, when we talk about the technical possibilities we have today. I have high hopes that in this application all the authorizing officers will be able to enter their data, it will be much easier to run,”
“Let's design budgets over several years”
The Minister of Finance believes that the elaboration of the budgets must be done in a multiannual logic, not for a single year, and spoke about the advantages of a budget construction of this kind.
“We have to start designing the budgets for many years, multiannually, not to think about the budget of this year. When we have a three -year perspective, the budget pressure and the pressure of the authorizing officers will be much lower, because they will not pushing to have a resource or funding in this year, as long as they have a 2027 built.
