The Treasury Department considers it to produce a dollar with the face of President Donald Trump to mark the 250th anniversary of the independence, a spokesman for the institution confirmed on Friday, according to Politico.
The design project of the currency, which was supervised by the treasurer Brandon Beach, has Trump's profile on one of the parties. The other side of the coin depicts the current president with the tight fist, in front of an American flag, next to the message “Fight, Fight” (“Fight, Fight”).
The image with the currency project was redistributed on the X and Brandon Beach platform, and the secretary of the treasury, Scott Bessent.

“Despite the forced closure of our government by the radical left, the facts are clear: under the historical leadership of President Donald J. Trump, our nation enters the 250th stronger, more prosperous and better anniversary,” a spokesman from the Treasury department said.
“Although a final design has not yet been selected for a 1 -dollar coin (…), this first draft reflects the sustainable spirit of our country and democracy, even in the face of huge obstacles,” added the institution's representative.
In 2020, the US Congress adopted a legislation – signed by Trump in its first term – which allows the Treasury Secretary to issue 1 -dollar coins in 2026. Their design must be “emblematic” for the 250th anniversary of declaring US independence.
“No fake news here. These first drafts that honor the 250th anniversary of America and the President of the United States are real. I can hardly wait to share more details soon, once the Obstrumentary Closing of the United States Government will be over,” said Brandon Beach in the 10th post.
The Federal government was partially “closed” on Wednesday, in a new “Shutdown”, after the American Congress failed to reach a financing agreement, only the essential services continuing to work.
