The pessimist Dan Cristian Popescu recently submitted two projects within the General Council of the Municipality of Bucharest, which wants to introduce a fee of 3.5 euros for the drivers entering Bucharest, but do not have the cars registered here. Dan Cristian Popescu finished the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Bucharest. He also obtained two diplomas of post -family studies: one of them was in the field of political science, international relations and public administration at the “George Washington” University in the United States. And the other is in the field of local public administration management at the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) in Bucharest. Other studies mentioned in his CV are three courses from the Romanian Diplomatic Institute and a doctorate in Economics from ASE.

Went through four parties

Dan Cristian Popescu was a member of several political parties. He went to the National Liberal Party (PNL), the Peasant National Democratic Peasant Party (PNȚCD), Civic Force (FC), later reached the Social Democratic Party (PSD).

He was a deputy from the Romania Right Alliance between 2012 – 2016. Then, Dan Cristian Popescu held the position of deputy mayor in Sector 2, from PNL, between 2016 – 2020. Popescu then applied for the City Hall 2, but from the PSD. After losing in front of Radu Mihaiu, from the USR, he was re -elected in the Parliament, as a PSD deputy.

Dan Cristian Popescu has nine bank accounts, a Lexus car, 2 lands (in Frmușani, respectively, in Dascălu), 9 apartments (6 in Bucharest, 1 in Ștefăneștii de Jos, 2 in Florida, USA), jewelry (150,000 euros), art and cult objects (25,000 euros), watches (53,000 euros).

He also owns a house of 104 square meters, since 2008. Cristian Popescu has a Lexus (manufactured in 2021). Other properties are four land in Calarasi county, three in full and one only in half, plus other commercial spaces of about 110 square meters.
