President Nawrocki wants to protect the Polish village. Signed a bill

On Saturday during a meeting with farmers in Krąpiel in the province. Zachodniopomorski President Karol Nawrocki signed the bill “Protection of the Polish countryside”. Its purpose is, among others Extending the moratorium for the sale of agricultural land belonging to the state.

– Today, the President of Poland clearly says that he is behind Polish farmers – said Nawrocki in his speech. – The Polish village needs real action towards our food safety – he noted.

He informed that in his bill, he refers to the moratorium expirying in 2026 for the sale of land, belonging to the resource of agricultural ownership of the Treasury. – The Act on the protection of the Polish countryside calls on the parliamentary majority to extend the moratorium on the ban on the sale of Polish soil and I signed it today – said the president.

He added that in the draft act he also calls for a change in the preamble of the Act on shaping the agricultural system, which he defined the “Constitution of Polish Agriculture”. – I want to adopt the act on shaping the agricultural system with a new preamble, which will give us a tool for a potential response in a situation where a contract with Mercosur comes into force and when the Polish market will be flooded by products from Ukraine again – Nawrocki noted.

He emphasized that the record to this preamble would give the political class the opportunity to fight for Polish farmers.

– This solution should appeal to farmers all over Europe. Farmers from other European countries are also very concerned about the signing of the European Union agreement with the Mercosur countries – said the president. – This is the most important solution for me, because it is on behalf of Polish farmers, but I hope that our partners from outside the Commonwealth, in the European Union, will follow the same path and build a coalition of countries that are against signing the European Union agreement with Mercosur countries. I will remind you of this international arena with full consistency – he added.

Nawrocki thanked Ronik for votes cast for him in the election. He emphasized that the president is responsible for the security of the country, and Poland must be safe not only militarily, militarily, energetically and in a civil angle, but also food. – The Polish village is a cell of the Polish state, in which our national culture, food security and civil security are written.
