Joint military maneuvers of Russia and China. A strategic area was chosen

Maneuvers, the code name “Sea Interaction 2025” becomes a symbol of the increasingly closer cooperation of Beijing and Moscow, takes place near the port of Vladivostok. According to the Chinese Ministry of Defense, this year's exercises include various military scenarios, such as rescue actions of submarines, activities against submarines, anti -aircraft and missile defense, and combat operations in international waters.
Four ships take part in the Chinese side, including two missile destroyers: Shaoxing and Urumqi. After the exercises, the units of both countries are planning to conduct joint patrols in the key areas of the Pacific.
This is another chapter in the history of Chinese-Russian cooperation in the field of military. Maneuvers “Sea Interaction” have been held regularly since 2012, and joint actions in the Pacific waters have become a permanent element in the relations between the two powers.
In recent years, China has strongly tightened with Russia on many levels. The authorities in Beijing have consistently avoided criticism against Moscow's actions, including a full -glass invasion of Ukraine, while intensifying economic, military and political cooperation.
The year 2024 brought increased activity of both warmakers, which then carried out a number of joint operations in the Japanese and East Chinese seas. The background of this dynamic partnership, however, remains tense, especially in the context of numerous violations of Japanese airspace by Russian and Chinese aircraft. These actions caused a sharp protest from the government in Tokyo, which is concerned with anxiously with the military cooperation of its neighbors.
