For the third quarter of this year, over 95 thousand participants of Employee Capital Plans will receive a total of nearly PLN 24 million from welcome payments – the PFR Portal PPK reported on Friday.

The information emphasizes that each PPK participant who has been a participant for at least 3 full calendar months and has made at least 3 basic payments during this time receives a welcome payment of PLN 250. The payment is financed by the Labor Fund and can only be received once.
“Welcome payments for the third quarter of 2025 will soon be transferred to the accounts of PPK participants. This time, the amount will be PLN 23,884,750, which will be received by as many as 95,539 participants. This is how many people met the conditions for obtaining a welcome payment in the third quarter,” PFR reported.
Within 15 days from the end of the quarter, PFR provides the minister responsible for labor with information on the total number of PPK participants who have acquired the right to it, based on data from the PPK Register. Then, within 30 days after the end of the quarter, the minister responsible for labor transfers the welcome payment to the PPK participant who has met the conditions for receiving it, via PFR. This payment is recorded in the participant's PPK account within 45 days after the end of the quarter.
This means that the welcome payment for the third quarter of 2025 will appear in the accounts of participants who met the conditions by November 14, 2025. PFR emphasized that people who did not meet the conditions for receiving the welcome payment in November may receive it on the next payment date, i.e. in February 2026.
“The number of people receiving a welcome payment confirms the growing awareness of the benefits of participating in PPK. I am very glad that more employees notice how easy it is to build savings together with the employer and the state. Savings that not only secure the future of employees, but also their families and loved ones. Over 4 million active participants and over PLN 42.5 billion of fully private money accumulated by them, which works and is resistant to inflation, is the success of the Employee Plans. “- emphasized Marta Damm-Świerkocka, member of the management board of PFR Portal PPK, quoted in the information.
Employee Capital Plans are a private, long-term savings program in which savings are built jointly by employees, employers and the state. Participation in PPK is voluntary for the employee; he can give up saving at any time and then return to it. (PAP)
