The Krasny Yar's rugby club did not reach the final of the Russian Cup. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Sports.
The semifinals took place in Saransk. Krasnoyarski lost to the Lokomotiv team from Penza. The meeting ended with a score of 19:10. Lokomotiv first reached the final of the Rugby Cup.
“I am upset, it’s hard to choose the right words now. It is a pity that they did not count our attempt, did not give a red card to the Penza player. Not to say that we were unlucky today, there was a close, stubborn game, in any case I congratulate Lokomotiv and wish them victory in the final, ”shared the head coach of the Red Yar RK Ulrich Beyers.
Today, July 27, the match of another Krasnoyarsk Club of Yenisei-Stm, the current champion of the competition, with the team from Kazan Strela-Ak Bars, will be held. The fight for the title of the Russian Cup – 2025 Rugby will be held on September 7 at VTB Arena in Moscow.
