Agrarians from the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are proposed to increase federal financing of rural programs in the region. The corresponding appeal to the Committee on Agrarian Issues of the State Duma was sent by the Committee on the Affairs of the village and the agro -industrial policy of the Legislative Assembly.
Regional parliamentarians propose to change the practice of the region’s participation in the federal program “Complex Development of rural territories”. They believe that in the region, in comparison with other constituent entities of the Russian Federation in Siberia, the extremely low volume of federal financing of key projects. For example, a housing construction project for the period 2021-2025 received from 0.9 % to 2.1 % of the declared need, and landscaping from 5.8 % to 31.9 %. The project for the development of transport infrastructure was funded only by one object, and all 14 applications for the project “Modern appearance of rural territories” were rejected.
The share of the region in financing among the subjects of the Siberian Federal District is insignificant and tends to decrease: from 0.8 % in 2021 to 0.3 % in 2023–2025. At the same time, municipalities bear significant costs for the development of project documentation.
“Deputies turn to the federal government with a proposal to change the current financing practice, given the need for extrabudgetary costs for farmers working in adverse climatic conditions. Strengthening the support of rural territories should help improve life in the village, modernize infrastructure, reduce the outflow of personnel and disclose the agro -industrial potential of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, ”said Vladislav Zyryanov, chairman of the village of village and agro -industrial policy.
