The Ukrainian team opened an account in the 13th minute, when Vladislav Vanat struck an accurate blow from the line of the goalkeeper site.
In the second half of the Maltese team, it was possible to restrain Dynamo’s attacks for a long time, however, at the end of the fight, two more goals flew into their gates: in the 76th minute Vitaly Buyalsky scored, and Nazar Voloshin (90+2 min.) – Nazar Voloshin.
According to statistics, which was published in UEFA, Dynamo inflicted 13 strokes on the goal of the opponent, and six of them flew into the “frame”. On the contrary, Hamrun Spartans of four strokes on the goal of the opponent has never been accurate.
The return match between the teams will be held on July 29.
The winner of the pair (probably it will be Dynamo) in the next round of the Champions League qualification will play with the winner of the confrontation “Paphos” (Greece) – “Maccabi” (Tel Aviv, Israel). The first match between them ended in a draw 1: 1.

The final of the current Champions League draw is scheduled for May 30, 2026 in Budapest (Hungary).
