The authorities commented on the latest cases of teenage aggression in schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Ministry of Education of the region together with law enforcement agencies are sorting it out in two high-profile cases of aggression in schools in Kodinsk and Krasnoyarsk, where girls attacked classmates and teachers. Comprehensive inspections are carried out in institutions and all the circumstances of the incident are established.

In addition, on behalf of Governor Mikhail Kotyukov, work with teachers and children, document checks, and preventive work with students will be carried out in all schools in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
School leaders will be sent instructions to eliminate all identified deficiencies.
“I would like to appeal to directors, teachers, parents – bullying at school is a serious problem that many children face. The task of adults in this situation is to help resolve children's and adolescent conflicts. This can only be done together. To do this, it is necessary to unite the efforts of the school and family and in no case avoid the conflict, pretending that nothing is happening. Otherwise, we will constantly be faced with such high-profile events,” said the regional Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova.

The governor plans to hold today headquarters with heads of municipalities, school directors and heads of education departments to discuss the alarming situation with aggressive behavior of schoolchildren and take take all necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
“We need to systematically understand how educational and preventive work with children is organized, how safety requirements are met, how the mechanism for responding to any teenage conflicts is built. You cannot be indifferent and ignore cases of bullying – this often turns into a tragedy. Everyone sees what is happening to the child – parents, teachers, and classmates. It is necessary to respond carefully and in a timely manner to changes in the behavior and emotional state of children, especially in the difficult adolescence period. There are no other people’s children, so they must be protected by everyone together, combining the efforts of family and school,” Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized.
