The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Neamt issued, on Saturday afternoon, a RO-allert message after the appearance of a bear in the area of the Duruita Cascadea in the Ceahlău Massif.

The area where the animal was seen is a tourist one and frequented by the lovers of the mountain, notes Agerpres.

It is almost not a week in which there are no two or three alerts regarding the appearance of bears in the areas inhabited by people.

At the end of last month, a man from Dămuc was attacked and wounded by the bear, being transported to the hospital.

Last year, ISU Neamt issued 63 alerts on the appearance of bears in the inhabited areas.
