The Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto will receive his counterparts from four other European military powers, Germany, France, Poland and the United Kingdom on Friday to discuss support for Ukraine, his ministry announced on Monday night, AFP writes.
In addition to Ukraine, the ministers will also discuss the ways to strengthen the European defense, the ministry said in a statement.
This is the fourth meeting of this type, after Berlin (November 25), Warsaw (January 13) and Paris (March 12), according to Agerpres.
At the end of the meeting, the five ministers will hold a common press conference at 12.45 GMT.
The announcement of this meeting comes in the context in which Donald Trump said on Monday that a trip to Turkey on Thursday for possible Russian-Ukrainian discussions, to which Volodimir Zelenski took Vladimir Putin.
