Superliga: U Cluj took the Portuguese defender Miguel Silva, who played at Steel in the last two seasons

FC Cluj University has reached an agreement with the Portuguese defender Miguel Silva (29 years). The left side defender, which has over 50 presence in the second Portuguese League and has evolved in the last two seasons for Galati steel, will become a “student” from July 1.
On his full name Miguel Angelo Gomes da Silva started football in the team in which he was born, Fiaes, for whom he evolved between 2003 and 2009. Subsequently, he continued his junior period at CD Feirense, where he played until 2014. Then, he passed, in a row, to Sao Joao de Ver, Estarreja and Aguda.
In the summer of 2018, Miguel Silva signed with Oliveirense, in the shirt that he checked 10 games in the first season, recording the debut in the second Portuguese league and managing to mark three times. In the 2019-2020 season, Silva also played, also for Oliveirense, 21 matches in all competitions, before taking step again to his former team, Sao Joao de Ver.
32 matches and two goals is the balance of Miguel Silva in his only year (2022-2023) spent at Leixoes, a team from the Portuguese second step. In August 2023, the left tape defender accepted the challenge of a first experience outside the native country and signed with Steel Galati. For the Galatians, he gathered 62 Superliga and Romanian Cup and contributed with a goal and three decisive passes.
